I’m in the mood for Autumn. Growing up in the Midwest, Fall was represented by the changing of the trees and a brisk cool turn in the weather. It marked a time when we had to officially transition our wardrobes into “Winter wear”. Now I live in Southern California and the transition is a bit more subtle. Either way, I love this time of year. It makes me want to cook hearty food, light musky, earthy candles and have a fire in the fireplace. It makes me want to snuggle.

Dresses truly are year round MUST staples. (At least in my closet.)  They are easy and comfortable and depending upon where you are reading from, can be underneath the layers you may have to add-on. While there are a couple Dreaming price point dresses below, the majority are Steals. Don’t believe me, click and find out.

A rule of thumb, is to try to create a nice balance in your closet of all price/designer ranges. Remember Sharon Stone wore a Gap turtleneck with a Valentino trumpet skirt to the Oscars back in 1996. Don’t be afraid to pair one of the choices below with an unexpected riding boot, close-toed wedge or flats. (They were the craze this season on the runway!) Fashion is your chance to make a statement. Be bold.

Thanks sagemag! Great blog and I love your “About” section. Keep it up, I worked at Marie Claire and then for a designer in NY before moving to LA and ultimately working for a Danish designer. If you work hard, as it seems you are, Life will take you where it is supposed to. Hugs

Thanks! That’s so inspiring to hear. It’s great that you’re working for a designer now.
